This week we opened the doors at Avolites HQ to a large group of clients, business partners, and friends, for an evening of fun, food, and familiarisation for Avolites MD Steve Warren’s birthday Curry Club.
Our first Curry Club of 2015 also gave attendees the chance to get a sneak peek at the as yet unreleased Avolites Arena console for the first time, ahead of its Prolight & Sound debut next month.
The Avolites team was on hand to share with you many of the brand new Titan Version 9 features including the industry unique Key Frame Shapes and the very useful Pixel Mapper Gradient fill feature.
The Ai support team gave live demonstrations of our unique Ai Autoblend tool, producing perfect multi-screen and projector blends, as well as the new output page that makes setting up content on multiple screens so quick and easy.
For many it was an opportunity to see the Quartz console for the first time as well as getting up close with the latest versions of all our console range and the new the Titan and Ai range as well as great new products from Robe, Light Initiative and i-Pix.
Ian Brown and Amy Schofield of Robe put on a great display with their much-lauded BMFL as well as Pointe and Mini Pointe Fixtures, which were operated from a Quartz console. Light Initiative’s Ben Vaughan brought their awesome Infinity Tube and Intellisphere down for the evening, with both running from both the Ai media server and Tiger Touch II lighting console. Chris Ewington of iPix and John O’Neill demonstrated the incredible DB1 lighting and video hybrid fixture.
Sharing in the festivities, Steve brought a veritable feast of his famous Jamaican cooking for all to enjoy, before joining in to party the night away with a mix of music, ping pong and table football.
