It's About Who You Know...

PLASA London is the proud host of several key awards ceremonies that recognise outstanding achievement in theatre technology, lighting and innovation and offer you an unmissable opportunity to meet the industry's movers and shakers.
In keeping with tradition, the 6th annual Knight of Illumination Awards will recognise the outstanding creative achievements of British lighting designers and will take place on the opening night, Sunday 6 October. For more information and to view the shortlist click here.
During its history, PLASA London has introduced hundreds of product innovations to the market - a trend which will continue at this year's event. The PLASA Awards for Innovation, held on Monday 7 October will highlight products that advance the industry by demonstrating a new style of thinking, improving technical practice or taking a key step forward in terms of safety. The award ceremony is open to all attendees and will also honour the recipient of the 2013 Gottelier Award, which aims to recognise product developers who have made significant and sustained contributions to the advancement of entertainment, presentation or installation technology - whether in audio, lighting, rigging, staging, or any other related field. There are many backstage roles and services that have been overlooked and uncelebrated in their excellence for too long! The Technical Theatre Awards 2013 will be presented on Tuesday 8 October celebrating Outstanding Achievement in Building & Set Construction, Stage Management, Sound, Stage Crew, Lighting and other disciplines.
